April 23, 2024 - (Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks today announced the signings of right-handed pitcher Dan Straily and Tyler Zuber. Both begin their first season with the Ducks, with Straily entering his 16th season of professional baseball and Zuber starting his seventh. April 23, 2024 - ROCHESTER, NY - The Office of Major League Baseball has announced that Red Wings Infielder TRAVIS BLANKENHORN has been named the International League Player of the Week for the April 16-21 period. Across all six games in the series, the Nationals farmhand posted a .476 (10-for-21) batting average, slugging five home runs, a triple, and two doubles while driving in eight RBI against the Toledo Mud Hens (DET). April 23, 2024 - ASHEVILLE - The South Atlantic League announced Cam Fisher as the Player of the Week for the week of April 15-21. In four games played, Fisher went 7-for-17 with four Home Runs, two doubles, seven runs scored, nine RBI, two walks, and a stolen base. Fisher's week was highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance on April 17 that included three Home Runs and six RBI. Owlz Sign Right-Handed Pitcher Luis Lopez for 2024 Season

April 22, 2024 - WINDSOR, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Owlz have signed right-handed pitcher Luis Lopez for the 2024 season. Lopez, a Florida native, played his college ball at Campbellsville University in Kentucky. During his senior season with the Tigers in 2023, Lopez pitched 21 ⅓ innings in 11 relief appearances, striking out 26 and posting a 5.48 ERA. He also picked up three wins without a loss.
