December 9, 2016 - MANCHESTER, NH. - The Manchester Monarchs (15-7-1-1) scored four times in the middle period on Friday to drown the Norfolk Admirals (3-15-4-0) 5-3 on Friday night. Both goaltenders were strong in the first period, as Connor Knapp and Sam Brittain turned aside everything sent their way. Admirals Bolster Blue Line with Armstrong

December 6, 2016 - NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals have signed defenseman Travis Armstrong ahead of Tuesday's game in Adirondack. Armstrong, 26, began this season with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League. The 6'5" - 216 lbs. blue liner had one assist through 13 games, along with 25 penalty minutes. Hailing from Smiths Falls, Ontario, Armstrong has 11 games of ECHL experience.
