January 12, 2017 - The new-look IceDogs took on their playoff rivals from Ottawa tonight in search of two big points to continue to fight for a playoff position. Games against Ottawa are always an exciting game, and tonight would be no different as Kirill Maksimov and Justin Brack made their IceDogs debuts, at home no less. January 7, 2017 - The IceDogs travelled to Hamilton tonight to take on the Bulldogs in the Battle of the Dogs. The IceDogs were coming fresh off a big win last night versus Peterborough, and looked to take that confidence into tonight's game. January 6, 2017 - Tonight, the IceDogs welcomed the Peterborough Petes in a game that was presented by Bell's Let's Talk Campaign to support mental health initiatives in Canada. Peterborough capitalized early to take the 2-0 lead, but the IceDogs bounced back quickly, pressuring the Petes goalie. January 4, 2017 - The Niagara IceDogs travelled to Erie on Wednesday to take on the Otters in a cross-conference battle. It didn't take long for the IceDogs to hit their stride in the first period as Ben Jones opened the scoring on a beautiful wrist shot over the trapper of the Otters goaltender to give the 'Dogs an early 1-0 lead. Defense partners Johnathon Schaefer and Ryan Mantha earned assists on the goal.
