October 21, 2016 - The Niagara IceDogs traveled to Mississauga to take on the Steelheads for the first of 6 meetings this season. Last season, the IceDogs and the Steelheads split their season series at 3 apiece, so the 'Dogs came into the game looking to get the early advantage in the series. October 19, 2016 - The Niagara IceDogs played host to the Erie Otters on Wednesday night at the Meridian Centre in hopes of putting the Otters 5 game winning streak to rest. Erie has gone undefeated since the two teams last met on October 6th, a 4-3 victory for the IceDogs. The IceDogs proved to be deadly in all situations in the first period, including the penalty kill. October 15, 2016 - Eastern Conference rivals, the Oshawa Generals, made the trip to St. Catharines to take on the IceDogs for the first of two games in their season series. The IceDogs were looking to get the early edge their series, improving from their 1-1 series against the Generals last season. October 14, 2016 - The Niagara IceDogs made history last night when they hosted the first ever Pride game in the CHL. The team was featured on Twitter Sports Canada along with many other mainstream news outlets across North America for all the right reasons. Between the support of the IceDogs faithful during the game and the spirited performance by the team, everyone involved helped contribute to a successful evening.
