Forward Laura Del Rio to Miss Remainder of 2016 Season Due to Ankle Surgery

May 31, 2016 - BOYDS, Md. - Forward Laura del Rio will miss the remainder of the 2016 NWSL season after undergoing surgery to fix a cartilage defect in her left ankle on May 24th, 2016. Del Rio is expected to miss 4-5 months and has been placed on the season-ending injury list. She will remain unavailable for the remainder of the season.
