Wildcats Fall Just Short in Final Pink in the Rink Game

October 22, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - Tonight was the final game of pink in the rink weekend, in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as the Wildcats took on the Val d'Or Foreurs at the Coliseum. For the second night in a row the Wildcats opened the scoring. Kelly Klima notched his third of the season on the power play, with the helpers going to Simon Le Coultre and brother Kevin Klima. October 21, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - Tonight was the Wildcats first game of our annual pink in the rink weekend here at the Coliseum. Coming up short tonight on home ice, the Wildcats lost this one 4-1 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in front of 3802 fans. Wildcats Acquire Forward Dakota Miskolczi

October 20, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats have acquired forward Dakota Miskolczi off waivers from the Shawinigan Cataractes. Born in Fort Errie, Ontario, Dakota is an 18-year-old forward who was a fifth round pick of the London Knights in 2014. After playing only three games with the team during their Memorial Cup year, he would spend the remainder of the season with the Fort Erie Meteors of the GOJHL, recording 22 points in 29 games. Wildcats Acquire Goaltender Alec MacDonald

October 20, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats have acquired goaltender Alec MacDonald from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2017 draft, and a fifth round pick in the 2020 draft. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia Alec spent his 2013-2014, and 2014-2015 seasons playing with his hometown Truro Bearcats of the NSMBHL; then, went on to play for Newbridge Academy in Halifax last season.
