Shaw Added to Canada/Russia Series

November 4, 2016 - CALGARY, AB - The Western Hockey League, in association with the Canadian Hockey League, announced today that forwards Brad Morrison, Lane Pederson and Mason Shaw have been added to Team WHL's roster for the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series, which begins Monday, November 7 in Prince George, BC. Morrison, Pederson and Shaw will replace forwards Dillon Dube (Kelowna Rockets), Brett Howden (Moose Jaw Warriors) and Nolan Patrick (Brandon Wheat Kings), who are unable to participate due to injuries. October 13, 2016 - TIGERS SEND FANTILLO TO SASKATOON Medicine Hat, AB -- The Medicine Hat Tigers announced late Thursday afternoon that the team has traded 98 born winger Caleb Fantillo to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for 2019 6th Round Bantam Draft pick. The Tigers drafted Fantillo in the 6th Round of the 2013 Bantam draft (123rd overall). He was entering his 2nd season in the league after appearing in 63 games as a rookie last year. September 23, 2016 - Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday morning, just hours before the 2016-17 season kicks off in Lethbridge, announced they have picked up 1997 born goaltender Jake Morrissey. The Tigers will not give anything up for the acquisition of Morrissey as he was released from the Vancouver Giants.
