Tigers Acquire Morrissey

September 23, 2016 - Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday morning, just hours before the 2016-17 season kicks off in Lethbridge, announced they have picked up 1997 born goaltender Jake Morrissey. The Tigers will not give anything up for the acquisition of Morrissey as he was released from the Vancouver Giants. Last season Morrissey split time between 4 different teams including the Saskatoon Blades, Vancouver Giants and Sherwood Park Crusaders and Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. MacPhee, a native of Edmonton, AB, played last season with the South Side Athletic Club Athletics of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.
