Longtime Legends Pitching Coach Charley Taylor Dies

February 19, 2017 - Longtime Legends pitching coach Charley Taylor dies Charley Taylor, who served as the Lexington Legends pitching coach for eight seasons, passed away Saturday night after a long battle with cancer. Taylor, a resident of northern Kentucky, served as a coach in professional baseball for 31 years. He was the Legends pitching coach from 2001 through 2008. February 12, 2017 - Pitcher Jacob Bodner, a Boyle County graduate and a former Lexington Legend, will be a special guest at the Legends annual pre-season caravan stop in Danville Monday, February 13. Bodner, who pitched in college at Xavier University before being drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2015, was 2-0 with three saves in seven appearances for the Legends in 2016.
