LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Lugnuts first baseman David Jacob was honored as the Midwest League's Player of the Week for the final week of the 2017 regular season, August 28 - September 4. The 22-year-old Jacob, drafted by Toronto in the 32nd round in 2016 from Quincy University, played the last three weeks of the season with the Lugnuts, batting .288 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 18 games.
