December 7, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds by a dominant score of 6-1 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna. Calvin Thurkauf opened the scoring, putting home two goals in the first period. Rockets led 2-0 after one period. Tomas Soustal put the Rockets up 3-0 early in the second before Seattle tried to stop the bleeding as they found the back of the net. Kelowna 3 Brandon 1 (WHL)

December 3, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Brandon Wheat Kings 3-1 on Saturday night at Prospera Place in the Rockets 4th Annual Teddy Bear Toss night in support of KGH. It took until the second period, but Nick Merkley scored a power play marker 6:54 into the middle frame and it rained bears from the stands. The bears will be donated to various wards at KGH. The Kelowna Rockets Fell in 2-1 OT

December 3, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets fell 2-1 in overtime to the Spokane Chiefs on Friday night. It was a low scoring defensive affair in Spokane. The Rockets outshot the Chiefs 37-21 but Hudson Elynuik ended the game scoring with 28 seconds remaining in the extra frame. The Rockets lone goal was scored by Kole Lind(15), who extends his goal streak to 6 games, which equaled the longest goal streak in the WHL this season. Kelowna 4 Tri-City 1 (WHL)

November 30, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans 4-1 on Wednesday night south of the border in the Toyota Center. The Rockets were dominant throughout peppering Tri-City netminder Rylan Parenteau with 45 shots while only allowing 21 on Michael Herringer. Herringer improves to 12-8-0-0 on the season while the Rockets improve to 15-11-0-0. Kelowna had two first period goals and a second period goal to take a commanding 3-0 lead into the third period.
