October 22, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans 4-2 on Friday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, winning its second straight game to close out a four-game homestand. The Rockets jumped out of the gates quickly, scoring four goals in the first five minutes of the game to take a lead they would not relinquish. October 20, 2016 - CALGARY, AB - The Western Hockey League, in collaboration with the Canadian Hockey League, Prince George Cougars, Edmonton Oil Kings and Hockey Canada, announced today the roster for Team WHL, which will compete against Team Russia at the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series. October 19, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Everett Silvertips 4-3 in overtime on Wednesday night at Prospera Place, snapping a three game losing skid in the process. Lucas Johansen scored the game winning goal on a power play tally in the extra frame to give the Rockets the win. The Rockets scored twice early in the first period. October 18, 2016 - SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - With action set to get underway next week, Hockey Canada has finalized the rosters for the three Canadian teams participating at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Oct. 27-Nov. 5. Rockets rookie forward Nolan Foote is a member of Team Canada Black as is assistant coach Travis Crickard, who is the team's video coach.
