2016 Kamloops Blazers Hockey School August 8-12, 2016

February 11, 2016 - Kamloops, BC - The 2016 Kamloops Blazers Hockey School will run from August 8 - 12, 2016 at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, BC. The school is open to boys and girls in four groups including Initiation (born 2010-2011), Novice (born 2008-2009), Atom (born 2006-2007), and Pee Wee (born (2004-2005). The camp includes two separate ice-times daily including power skating and skills training, classroom session, off-ice activities and a lunch program. February 8, 2016 - The Blazers built up a 3-0 lead and hung on for a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen on home ice Monday afternoon. It was a strong start for the Blazers as they hit a couple of posts in the early part of the first period. Matt Revel got the Blazers on the scoreboard. Jermaine Loewen won a puck battle and got the puck to Revel who snapped home his 16th goal of the season. Collin Shirley scored his 30th goal on a shorthanded breakaway. Blazers Lose 4-0 At Home

February 6, 2016 - It was a great day in Kamloops, but the outcome of Saturday night's game was not what the doctor ordered in a 4-0 home ice loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings. The Blazers had the jump early as they wanted to get the sell out crowd of 5,673 fans into the game. They had odd man rushes and chances, but could not execute in the early stages of the game.
