Thunder Re-Sign Defenseman Mathieu Brodeur

July 26, 2016 - Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have signed defenseman Mathieu Brodeur to a standard player contract. Brodeur, 26, returns to the Thunder for his second season with Adirondack and his seventh overall as a professional. Brodeur led all Thunder defenseman with nine goals during the 201-16 regular season and finished tied with Alber for the team lead in scoring amongst blueliners with 30 points (9-21-30) over 70 games played. Solar Bears Agree to Terms with Forward Patrick Watling

July 26, 2016 - ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that the club has agreed to terms with forward Patrick Watling for the 2016-17 season. July 26, 2016 - BASEBALL Carolina League: The city of Fayetteville (NC) announced it will move forward on a memorandum of understanding with Major League Baseball's Houston Astros to build a new downtown ballpark for a possible team in the high Class-A Carolina League.
