April 20, 2024 - Hillsboro, OR - The Hops (6-8) got the 3-1 win as they celebrated Jackie Robinson day at Hillsboro Ballpark. Cole Percival made his third start of the year for Hillsboro, going up against Tri-City (4-10) starter Chris Clark. Hillsboro scored three runs on seven hits which proved to be enough to get the win in the fifth game of the series. April 20, 2024 - Hillsboro, OR After four errors in the previous game of the series, the Hillsboro Hops (5-8) could not seem to shake their defensive woes, committing five errors in their 11 to 3 loss to the Tri-City Dust Devils (4-9). Out of the 11 runs allowed by the Hops, four of them were unearned. Hops pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts, but it was not enough to stop the Dust Devils from pouring on the runs. April 19, 2024 - Hillsboro, OR - Avery Short was on the bump for Hillsboro in game three of the series and he was opposed by Jorge Marcheco for Tri-City. Both pitchers gave up one earned run without walking a batter, as Short pitching five strong innings and Marcheco pitched six innings. April 18, 2024 - Spencer Giesting went up against Joel Hurtado, the Angels #20 prospect (MLB.com) for his second start of the year. Giesting went six innings, allowing no runs and racking up five strikeouts, securing the win.
