Defenseman Joey Leach Returned to Stingrays

February 10, 2016 - HERSHEY, Pa. - The Hershey Bears announced today that defenseman Joey Leach has been returned on loan to the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays. The announcement was made by Bears president/general manager Doug Yingst. Leach, 24, provided a solid presence on the Bears' blue line during his recent tenure. Dressing in six games, he posted three assists, seven penalty minutes and a plus-six efficiency rating. He was even or better in all six games played. Capitals Re-Assign Carey and Carrick to Hershey

February 8, 2016 - ARLINGTON, Va. - The Washington Capitals have re-assigned forward Paul Carey and defenseman Connor Carrick to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today. Carey, 27, played in four games with the Capitals this season and scored his first NHL goal on Feb. 6 at New Jersey.
