January 31, 2016 - The Harrisburg Heat trailed by four goals at halftime, but fought back in the third period to cut the lead in half. At the end it was a very spirited attempt, but the Heat could not complete the comeback attempt in the debut of interim head coach Gino Diflorio falling to the Waza Flo by a final of 9-4. Detroit's Nik Djokic scored his first goal of the afternoon to open the final frame. January 30, 2016 - The Harrisburg Heat relieved head coach Tarik Walker of his duties following a 12-5 loss at the hands of division rival Detroit at the Pa Farm Show Large Arena Saturday night in front of 2515 fans. The loss kept the Heat winless in in 13 attempts on the season and on the brink of elimination from the playoff picture. Heat vs. Waza Postponed

January 23, 2016 - The Heat at Detroit game scheduled for tomorrow afternoon has been officially postponed until a T.B.D. date in February because of the blizzard. The Heat's transportation provider recognized the horrific travel conditions for the next 24 hours and their bus has been unable to travel. Mustangs Defeat Heat

January 16, 2016 - First place Chicago broke a 3-3 tie midway through the fourth quarter to defeat the Harrisburg Heat 6-3 at the Sears Center. The Heat, decimated by injuries, used only 10 field players but battled strong with two goals from Derrick Long (Conrad Weiser) and one goal by Marcos Chantel. Joshio Sandoval broke the 3-3 tie at 5:30 of the 4th quarter for the Mustangs. Tim Mehl had 12 saves in the loss, the Heat's 12th in a row.
