Richards Comes Back to Gateway After Promising Rookie Campaign

February 4, 2016 - Sauget, Ill. - The Gateway Grizzlies have extended the contract of right-handed pitcher Trevor Richards, who joined the organization during June of the 2015 season. Richards maintained a 3.36 ERA in 14 starts for Gateway last season, including a stretch where he pitched at least six innings in 11 consecutive outings. Prior to signing with the Grizzlies, he finished his senior season at Drury University with 72 innings of work on the mound. January 14, 2016 - Sauget, Ill. - The Southeastern Conference announced on Thursday, Jan. 14, the annual "Braggin' Rights" game between the University of Illinois and University of Missouri on May 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. will be featured on the SEC Network. Grizzlies Complete Strong Second Half with Sweep of Crushers

September 6, 2015 - SAUGET, Ill. - The Grizzlies capped off the 2015 season with a 10-0 victory on Sunday night against the Lake Erie Crushers at GCS Ballpark. Gateway secured their sixth straight win and ended the campaign by winning 15 of 18 games.
