July 30, 2016 - CANYON, TX- The Gary SouthShore RailCats (35-31) and the Texas AirHogs (24-42) combined for 31 hits in a 10-5 RailCats win on Friday night. The game was unique on many levels; it featured an inordinate amount of offense, was played a day late and was played at a foreign ballpark. July 27, 2016 - KANSAS CITY, KS- The Gary SouthShore RailCats (34-31) tallied four hits and two walks to score five runs in the 6th inning on the way to a series-clinching victory against the Kansas City T-Bones (29-36). Rosario's Complete Game Helps RailCats Rebound With 7-2 Win

July 26, 2016 - KANSAS CITY, KS- It only took 92 pitches for Charle Rosario to record 27 outs and guide the Gary SouthShore RailCats (33-31) to a 7-2 win over the Kansas City T-Bones (29-35). The RailCats' 'ace' was efficient; registering six strikeouts and surrendering just two walks and four hits to the T-Bones. The only KC runs came from solo home runs by Tyson Gillies and Anthony Gallas. RailCats Sign Two College Stars

July 26, 2016 - GARY, IN - The Gary South Shore RailCats announced today the signing of infielder Andy DeJesus and left-handed pitcher Braulio Torres-Perez. Both players finished their senior seasons in May, with DeJesus graduating from Indiana State and Torres-Perez from Bellevue University. DeJesus most recently played for the Terre Haute Rex of the Prospect League, a wood-bat collegiate summer league. He hit .327 in 25 games for the Rex including five doubles and three home runs.
