Marksmen Claim Eric Dop off Waivers
March 27, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, are pleased to announce the signing of goaltender Eric Dop. Dop, 25, was claimed off waivers from the Pensacola Ice Flyers Tuesday. The Lewis Center, OH, native has three wins and a .883 save percentage this season. Last season, he saw action in 11 ECHL games, and played five seasons at the NCAA's Division-I level for Boston College and Bowling Green University. Goehring Nets Hat Trick, Marksmen Beat Havoc 6-3
March 23, 2024 - HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Todd Goehring scored a hat trick and the Fayetteville Marksmen rebounded from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Huntsville Havoc 6-3 at Propst Arena Saturday. Goehring (4) directed in a bouncing puck in front from Simon Boyko (22) to give the Marksmen a 1-0 lead just over seven minutes into the first period. The Havoc responded with back-to-back goals though and took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. March 22, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, are pleased to announce the return of forward Todd Goehring from the ECHL's Worcester Railers Friday. Goehring, 26, played seven games for the Marksmen prior to his call-up and scored three goals and five points. In Worcester, the winger registered eight points, including one goal and skated away with a +9 plus/minus rating through 26 games. March 20, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, are pleased to announce the return of forward Max Johnson from the ECHL's Iowa Heartlanders. Johnson, 25, started the season with Fayetteville and put up 17 points (9+8) in 20 games. During his time with Iowa, the center recorded six points (3+3) in 29 games.
