D.C. United Acquire 2017 Third Round Draft Pick in Exchange for Conor Doyle

February 9, 2016 - WASHINGTON - D.C. United have acquired the Colorado Rapids' natural third-round pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for forward Conor Doyle. Doyle, 24, played in 25 MLS matches in 2015, starting 10. He scored two goals in the MLS season, both against the Fire. Doyle made four appearances in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League and scored two goals, and also provided an assist in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. February 1, 2016 - WASHINGTON - D.C. United have acquired midfielder Marcelo Sarvas from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Targeted Allocation Money and a 2018 conditional SuperDraft pick. A four-year MLS veteran, Sarvas has played in 113 career MLS matches, starting 101. The Brazilian midfielder played in 25 matches for the Rapids in 2015, his first season in Colorado.
