Prout Named One of Five Hall of Fame Finalists

July 28, 2016 - DENVER - For the second consecutive year, former Colorado Mammoth forward Gavin Prout has been named a finalist for the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame Class of 2016. He's joined on the ballot by returners Kevin Finneran and Tracey Kelusky, and first-time nominees John Tavares and Josh Sanderson. Prout played nine seasons with the Mammoth, and was captain from 2006-2009 and 2012-2013. He's the team's all-time leader in career assists (459) and points (664), and is second in loose balls (647). June 22, 2016 - DENVER - The National Lacrosse League announced on Wednesday that Dillon Ward has been named a finalist for the 2016 Goaltender of the Year award. The third-year Mammoth netminder led the NLL in save percentage (.800), and his goals-against-average (10.33) was three-hundredths of a point from the top of the leaderboard. June 21, 2016 - DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced on Tuesday that the team's coaching triumvirate of Pat Coyle, Chris Gill and Dan Stroup has been signed to two-year extensions that will keep them behind the bench through the 2018 NLL season. May 7, 2016 - DENVER - When it comes to Colorado and Calgary, 60 minutes is seemingly never enough. Such was the case in the West Division Semifinal presented by Honey Smoked Salmon on Saturday night on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center as the Roughnecks' Dane Dobbie scored 10-minutes, 17-seconds into overtime to beat the Mammoth, 11-10, in the longest playoff game in Mammoth history.
