Hess, Lucky Come Through to Forge 5-5 Tie

AtL Lancaster Stormers April 18, 2024 - Kyle Hess (Donegal) and Nick Lucky (Cocalico) produced key RBI in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lancaster Stormers fought to a 5-5 tie with the Black Sox Thursday afternoon in the first of five straight home exhibition games at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The exhibition game was limited to eight innings. Lancaster is now 0-1-1 on the spring schedule. EL Portland Sea Dogs April 18, 2024 - Portland, Maine - The Portland Sea Dogs (6-4) blank the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (7-5) 3-0 to record their second shutout of the season. Zach Penrod, Ryan Zeferjahn, Christopher Troye, and Felix Cepeda combine to silence the 'Cats bats. A pitcher's duel kept the ballgame scoreless on both sides as Penrod carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning. Former Vibe Nico Zeglin Signs with Cubs

PL Rocky Mountain Vibes April 18, 2024 - Former Vibe Nico Zeglin has signed with the Cubs organization on a minor league contract. Zeglin joined Rocky Mountain during the 2023 season after finishing his collegiate career with Long Beach State. Zeglin made an instant impact with the Vibes. The right hander was a strikeout machine, tossing 39 Ks in just 29.2 innings. Zeglin held a 3.03 ERA for Rocky Mountain and pitched to a 3-0 record in six games started. FL Washington Wild Things April 18, 2024 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have come close to finalizing the camp roster for the upcoming spring training portion of the 2024 season. Today the team signed infielder Alexander Ovalles in a move presented by McClellands Contracting and Roofing, LLC.
