Cyclones Surrender Lead, Ultimately Win in Shootout

February 19, 2017 - Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones (25-23-4-0) defeated the Ft. Wayne Komets, 5-4 in a shootout, on Sunday afternoon. Forwards Shane Walsh, Justin MacDonald, and Brandon McNally, along with defenseman Jonathan Diaby netted the goals for the Cyclones. The Cyclones took the lead midway through the first when Walsh brought the puck over the right side blue line and wristed a shot that deflected off of Komets goaltender Garrett Bartus and into the net to give Cincinnati a 1-0 lead. February 18, 2017 - Moline, IL- The Cincinnati Cyclones (24-23-4-0) earned a 2-1 win over the Quad City Mallards on Friday night. Forwards Seth Ambroz and Nick Huard scored the goals for the Cyclones, who snap their two-game skid. After the Mallards took a 1-0 lead midway through the first in a goal from Nolan LaPorte, Cincinnati pulled even with just over a minute to play when a scramble in front of the Quad City net resulted in Ambroz collecting the loose puck and firing it in from one knee to tie the game, 1-1, through 20 minutes. February 15, 2017 - Cincinnati, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones (23-23-4-0) fell to the Quad City Mallards, 3-2, on Wednesday night. Forward Tommy Mele recorded both goals for the Cyclones.
