Central Division & Saturdays Highlight Wolves' 2016-17 Schedule

August 22, 2016 - GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves unveiled their 2016-17 American Hockey League schedule on Monday, featuring matchups with their seven Central Division rivals as well as some Pacific Division foes. The 76-game slate also includes 25 weekend home games, comprised of 15 Saturday tilts and 10 Sunday matinees. The Wolves host their 23rd home opener on Saturday, Oct. 15, with a 7 p.m. game against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Allstate Arena. August 12, 2016 - The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that defenseman Gus Young has signed a contract to play for the organization. "He's just a solid all-around defenseman," said Wolves general manager Wendell Young. "I think he's undervalued and he'll add depth to our blue line." Wolves Schedule Three Exhibition Games for October

August 11, 2016 - The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday they will play three exhibition games in as many days to close out their 2016 training camp. New head coach Craig Berube's squad opens preseason play at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, with a visit to the MetroCentre to face the Rockford IceHogs. The Wolves host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday, Oct. 7, at West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows. Tickets are $5 for the 7 p.m. game and can be purchased in advance or at the gate. July 22, 2016 - Left wing Brett Sterling, the No. 2 goal-scorer in franchise history, has signed a contract to rejoin the Chicago Wolves.
