July 22, 2016 - Left wing Brett Sterling, the No. 2 goal-scorer in franchise history, has signed a contract to rejoin the Chicago Wolves. The Los Angeles native and Chicago resident stacked up 167 goals and 141 assists in 302 games during his first two stints with the Wolves, which included a primary role for the 2008 Calder Cup champions. July 11, 2016 - The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that defenseman Scooter Vaughan has signed a contract to return to the team. The 27-year-old Placentia, Calif., native produced 3 goals and 11 assists in 68 games last season for the Wolves. "We're excited to have him back," said Wolves general manager Wendell Young. Three AHL All-Stars Highlight Group of Nine Signees

July 6, 2016 - American Hockey League All-Stars Brad Hunt, Morgan Ellis and Andrew Agozzino are among a group of nine players to sign deals with the St. Louis Blues. Defenseman Chris Butler and forward Jacob Doty, both of whom played for the Chicago Wolves the last two seasons, also are among those to agree to one-year, two-way contracts. Hunt, a 27-year-old defenseman, began his professional career with the Wolves in 2012.
