February 13, 2016 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - Christiano Versich and Jack Gessert combined for seven points while Daniel Vladar recorded a 29-save shutout as the Chicago Steel (18-18-4-3, 43 points) defeated the Sioux City Musketeers (18-21-1-0, 37 points) 7-0 Friday night at Fox Valley Ice Arena. Lethemon Earns USHL Goaltender of the Week

February 8, 2016 - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The United States Hockey League ("USHL") announced Monday that John Lethemon of the Chicago Steel has been named CCM/USHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Feb. 7, 2016. Lethemon recorded a career-high 47 saves Friday in Chicago's 3-0 win at Sioux City, picking up his second shutout over the course of four starts. Steel Obtain Two Players in Monday Transactions

February 8, 2016 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel announced Monday that they have acquired defenseman Croix Evingson from the Kenai River Brown Bears (NAHL), while also trading defenseman Charlie Raith to the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for forward prospect Ashton Altmann. Evingson will join the Steel's active roster, while Altmann is added to the team's affiliate list.
