Boyette Selected to 2016 WNBA All-Rookie Team

September 29, 2016 - CHICAGO - Chicago Sky center Imani Boyette was chosen to the 2016 WNBA All-Rookie Team presented by Samsung, the WNBA announced today. Boyette, who starred at the University of Texas before being selected with the 10th pick in the 2016 draft, ranked second among rookies in rebounding (5.6 rpg) and blocks (1.4 bpg). She started 16 of 31 games and averaged 6.7 points in 18.9 minutes, helping the Sky secure the fourth seed in the playoffs. Sky to Face Sparks in Semifinals

September 25, 2016 - CHICAGO - With a 108-98 win over the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, the Chicago Sky advanced to the semifinal round of the 2016 WNBA Playoffs presented by Verizon where they will face the Los Angeles Sparks in the semifinals. The first game of the best-of-five semifinals will be held at 9 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, September 28 at the Staples Center. The game will air on ESPN2. September 23, 2016 - CHICAGO - Tickets for the semifinal round of the 2016 WNBA Playoffs presented by Verizon are on sale now. The winning teams in the second round single-elimination games advance to the semifinals which will feature a five-game series beginning on Wednesday, September 28 at the home court of either top-seeded Minnesota or second-seeded Los Angeles, who previously earned a bye to this round.
