Sanders Rejoins Mystics

August 24, 2016 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Mystics head coach Mike Thibault announced today that forward LaToya Sanders has rejoined the team for the rest of the season. Sanders played in the recent Olympics as a member of the Turkish delegation where she led her team in points per game (22), rebounds per game (8.6) and blocked shots per game (1.5). During the 2015 season, Sanders recorded 5.0 points per game and a team-high 2.0 blocks per game. She was selected in the first round (13th overall) by the Phoenix Mercury during the 2008 ... Long Island Nets, Greensboro Swarm and Windy City Bulls Select 12 Players in Expansion Draft

August 24, 2016 - NEW YORK- The Long Island Nets (Brooklyn), Greensboro Swarm (Charlotte), and Windy City Bulls (Chicago) have each obtained the rights to 12 players following the results of the 2016 NBA Development League Expansion Draft. The teams will hold the rights to those players for two seasons. The selections made in Wednesday's Expansion Draft came from a pool of players from 2014-15 and 2015-16 NBA D-League rosters.
