New York Liberty Forward Tina Charles Named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week

May 23, 2016 - NEW YORK - Tina Charles of the New York Liberty and Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx were named the WNBA's Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played May 14 through May 22. Charles earned the Player of the Week honor for the 15th time in her seven-year career. May 23, 2016 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The WNBA today named Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played May 14 through May 22. The Player of the Week award is Moore's first of the season and the 15th of her career. Lightning Defeat Express, Lead Series 3-2

May 21, 2016 - (LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night, in front of 6,626 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Windsor Express 108-98. The Lightning now lead the Express 3-2 in the best of seven playoff series. Akeem Scott scored 22 points, seven assists and three steals. Warren Ward also scored 22 points. Hurricanes Defeat Mill Rats and Advance to Finals

May 21, 2016 - Halifax, (NS) - Halifax Hurricanes Basketball Club defeated the Saint John Mill Rats 109-80 in game four of the Atlantic Conference Championships, at the Harbour Station. Hurricanes sweep the Mill Rats in the 7 game series 4-0, and advance to the Finals. Hurricanes led the Mill Rats 26-19 at the end of the first quarter.
