September 3, 2005 - Richmond, Indiana - The Roosters lost 9-3 to the Evansville Otters Friday night, but the positive atmosphere in the ballpark could not be dampened as 1005 fans crowed McBride Stadium for the final Rooster home game in the franchise's illustrious history. The game was close until the Otters busted out with six runs in the seventh inning. Roosters Snap Losing Streak

September 1, 2005 - Richmond, Indiana - The Roosters broke their nine-game losing streak Wednesday night with a 4-3 walk-off win over the Evansville Otters. Neither team scored more than one run in an inning as the Otters tied the game twice before giving up the winning home run to Mike Bidwell in the bottom of the ninth. August 30, 2005 - Richmond, Indiana - The Roosters were blown out Monday night in a 19-9 loss to the Chillicothe Paints. Richmond scored first, but Chillicothe roared back to send the Roosters to their ninth straight defeat. The Paints collected 19 hits on the night, six of which were home runs. Chillicothe hitters overpower Richmond

August 29, 2005 - Richmond, Indiana - The Roosters lost 10-6 Sunday night in the first game of a series with the Chillicothe Paints. It was the eighth straight loss for Richmond and its 16th in the last 17 games. The Paints collected 17 hits in the game and were able to put the Roosters behind early despite committing five errors. The Paints scored early and often in the game, getting one run in each of the first three innings, three runs in the fourth, and four runs in the sixth.
