PEI Rocket Sale Talks in Progress

April 26, 2013 - A group of local Charlottetown Business people has today put in a verbal offer to the Savard family in order to keep the PEI Rocket in Charlottetown. A counter proposal has been verbalized by the Savard Family and the group of local investors now plans to re-convene early this evening in an effort to put forth a formal Letter of Intent to purchase the team. We really feel we can do some damage in the playoffs and we would love to have great support from you, the media, to get the entire Island behind us. PEI Rocket Set Round One Schedule

March 18, 2013 - After a regular season in which the PEI Rocket set a franchise record for most wins, the team will begin the playoffs Friday night at the Charlottetown Civic Centre, against the Val d'Or Foreurs. Game 2 of the series is Saturday night, at the Charlottetown Civic Centre, and the teams fly to Val d'Or for games 3, 4 and 5 on March 26,27 and 29. Troy Crowder Keynote Speaker at PEI Rocket Fans' Choice Awards

March 13, 2013 - The PEI Rocket have made a change to their keynote speaker for their Fans Choice Awards Dinner, sponsored by Confederation Bridge. Troy Crowder, a former NHL player, has replaced previously announced Tim Taylor. Taylor, the Director of Player Development for the St. Louis Blues, has been assigned to team duties that will prevent him from attending and Troy Crowder graciously shifted his schedule to join the Rocket team and its supporters.
