Mark McClure to Assemble US Squad, Daleo Named Coach

April 25, 2003 - Texas Rim Rocker CEO Mark McClure, 35, has been asked by the Mexican National Team liaisons here in the States to form a US squad to play their team on May 31st and June 7th. The team, yet to be named, will be made up of U.S. players with a diverse pro background. Chris Daleo, CBA Coach of the Year and Rockford Lightning head coach has been tapped by McClure to put together and coach the team. March 25, 2003 - Texas Rim Rockers first signee, Adam Harrington, signed a 10 day deal today with the Denver Nuggets. Rim Rockers Owner Issues Challenge

March 11, 2003 - Texas Rim Rockers co-owner and CEO Mark McClure issued a one on one challenge to Mark Cuban to be played at a Rim Rocker half time this season. Cuban was incensed and issued a flat out no, due to the fact that he said McClure should have contacted him first instead of issuing a press release. The Fort Worth Star Telegram called Cuban out on it, but no reply from Cuban's camp. The loser was to pay $2,500 to their favorite charity. March 6, 2003 - CEO Mark McClure confirmed today that Director of Media Relations, Doug Anderson has inked a deal for three of their games to be broadcast live via Channel 31 in Fort Worth.
