New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Willie Collazo dealt for 7 innings allowed one run and the Zephyrs won their second consecutive game in Las Vegas a 10-2 win at Cashman Stadium. Michael Ryan had five hits in five at bats with two RBI in the game.
Ryan became the first Zephyr this season with a five hit game. The Zephyrs out-hit the 51's 15-8 in the game. Andy Gonzalez drove home three runs and Brad Davis drove home a pair in the game. New Orleans took the lead in the first with a two out double by Cameron Maybin and he scored on a Ryan double. The Z's added a pair in the fourth and three more in the sixth and seventh innings.
Willie Collazo pitched 96 pitches and limited the 51's to one run on five hits in his fourth win of the season. Fabio Castro takes the defeat for the Las Vegas.
