WV Power - Weekly Promotions Announced

CHARLESTON, WV - The West Virginia Power open the 2017 season in 35 days and are pleased to announce their weekly promotions. Familiar fan favorites dot the weekly schedule, providing the area's best values and entertainment.

The Power host the Rome Braves April 6 to start the campaign on what will be the first of ten Thirsty Thursdays. 12 ounce draft beers will once again be just $1.00 and $2.00 16 ounce cans will also be on sale.

Mondays will serve as Family Buck Nights during the 2017 season. Box seat tickets will cost $3.00 while general admission tickets remain $1.00. Concessions specials will be offered every Monday, including $1.00 12 ounce sodas, $1.00 popcorn and $1.00 hot dogs.

Tuesday games will be presented by Rock 105 as Two for Tuesdays return, featuring two-for-one concession and beverage specials.

Every Friday home game will be followed by fireworks, courtesy of Electric 102.7 and Suddenlink Communications. The Power have 10 Friday home games this season, including two in April and May, three in June, one in July and two in August.

Sunday games will start at 2:05 P.M. and will have children in mind. Kid's Sunday Fundays start with an outfield catch when gates open at 1:00 P.M. After the final out, kids 12 and younger can run the bases and select Power players will sign autographs.

The West Virginia Power promotional schedule will be released next week and will include 16 fireworks shows as well as some fan-favorite promotions like BrewFest CharlieWest, Redneck Night 6 and a West Virginia Day Celebration. The schedule will also feature three bobblehead giveaways and several themed-jersey nights.
