Wranglers Get Meilleur from Condors

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Francis Meilleur has been traded to the team from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations.

Meilleur ("May-yur"), 22, is in his second professional season after four years (2007-11) in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound blueliner made his ECHL debut with the Greenville Road Warriors last season, posting 11 points (2 goals, 9 assists) in 61 games. Originally from Montreal, Meilleur had three goals and eight assists in 50 games with the Condors this season.

The Wranglers play two road games against the Stockton Thunder starting Friday, March 8. The team returns home for a 7:05 p.m. match against the Condors on Tuesday, March 19.
