HOME IMPROVEMENT

The Wolves open a five-game homestand against Grand Rapids on Wednesday; Chicago, which has notched a 14-9-0-2 mark at home this year, has only eight regular-season contests at the Allstate Arena after the conclusion of its five-game homestand on Feb. 25.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- MARK MANCARI: Collected his 400th and 401st career AHL points when he bagged his sixth multiple-goal contest of the year on Saturday (2G) ... Paces the Wolves and shares 11th in the AHL with 20 goals and ranks first on the team and is tied for 18th in the league with 41 points in 43 matchups this season ... He has now registered six straight 20-goal seasons in the AHL

--- MICHAEL DAVIES: Shared the team lead with 2 goals and 3 points in three games last week ... Accrued 6 goals, 13 points and a +9 plus/minus rating in 26 contests this season ... Registered 12 points (6G, 6A) in his last 13 contests after dishing out one assist in his first 13 games this year

--- STEVE REINPRECHT: Dished out 3 assists in his last two games after being held without a point in his previous three contests ... Ranks third on the Wolves with 20 assists and 29 points in 38 games this year ... Skated in five matchups with San Antonio before being acquired in a trade by Vancouver on Oct. 22 ... His two-assist showing on Saturday was his 10th multiple-point outing of the season, which shares second on Chicago

--- TIM MILLER: Tallied 4 points (2G, 2A) in his last five contests ... Ranks third on the team with 13 goals and shares fourth on the club with 28 points in 48 games this year ... Shares third among AHL forwards and is tied for seventh overall in the league with a +16 plus/minus rating and has posted a plus or even rating in 27 of his last 31 outings

--- JORDAN SCHROEDER: Matched the 28 points he posted in 61 games as a rookie with the Manitoba Moose last season with his first career short-handed goal on Feb. 7 ... Ranks second on Chicago with 14 goals and shares fourth with 28 points in 49 contests this season ... Held scoreless in his last two outings after recorded 3 goals and 4 points in his previous five contests

WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves have posted a 6-2-0-0 record over their last eight games after suffering through a four-game losing streak from Jan. 14-21; Chicago sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 58 points (27-18-1-3) and trails first-place Charlotte by four points, but holds two games in hand; Charlotte visits the Allstate Arena for the final time this year on Friday and Saturday.

--- Three of the four goals Chicago has surrendered in its last two games have come while short-handed; the Wolves, who have allowed power-play goals in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 29 and 31, rank seventh in the AHL with an 83.8 efficiency rating on the penalty kill this season (165 of 197).

--- Left wing ANTOINE ROUSSEL collected the second multiple-point outing of his career on Saturday (G, A) to snap a 13-game scoreless skid; the 22-year-old forward has compiled 6 points (3G, 3A) and ranks second on the club with 111 penalty minutes.

--- Chicago matched a season-high by scoring six goals in a 6-2 win over Rockford on Saturday after bagging just three markers in its previous two games; the Wolves victory on Saturday also marked just the second time this year they have won a game by four goals or more.

--- The Wolves have scored just three power-play goals in their last 10 games (three of 43), all of which have come on the road; Chicago shares 24th in the league with a 15.6 efficiency rating on the power play this season (33 of 212).

DOG DAYS OF WINTER

--- The Wolves will host an Adopt-A-Dog Drive at their home game on Saturday, Feb. 18, to benefit Chicago Animal Care and Control. Fans can donate new toys, treats, and food for the shelter in support of the team's February Adopt-A-Dog night, presented by Pet Supplies Plus, Evo, Natural Balance Pet Foods and Pedigree. --- The Wolves used a three-goal second period to skate past the Rockford IceHogs 6-2 in an Illinois Lottery Cup contest at the MetroCentre
--- Forwards MARK MANCARI (2G) and MICHAEL DAVIES (G, A) paced a pack of five Wolves skaters that notched multiple points
--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE turned aside 39 of 41 shots

Friday, Feb. 10

--- The Wolves dropped a 2-1 Illinois Lottery Cup decision to the Rockford IceHogs at the MetroCentre
--- Defenseman NOLAN BAUMGARTNER tallied the lone goal for Chicago
--- Goaltender EDDIE LACK thwarted 27 shots

--- Center JORDAN SCHROEDER broke a 1-1 deadlock with a short-handed goal with 3:26 remaining in the game to lift the team past the Houston Aeros 2-1 at the Allstate Arena
