Wolves Prepare for Final Weekend of the Season

The Wolves will host their Northern rivals, the North Bay Battalion Friday night as they get set for their final home game of the season. Game time is 7:00pm. Friday's game is part two of a home-and-home series with the Battalion which they will kick off on Thursday night in North Bay.
The Battalion are led offensively by their 19-year-old Captain MIKE AMADIO who sits 9th in league scoring with 94 points in 65 games. He also sits 4th among league goal scorers with 48 goals. Amadio is a prospect of the LA Kings, with whom he signed a three-year entry-level contract with on Sunday. On defence, the Battalion feature Colorado Avalanche prospect KYLE WOOD and Calgary Flames prospect RILEY BRUCE. In net, the Battalion are led by goaltender JAKE SMITH. The Battalion currently sit third in the Eastern Conference, just two points ahead of the Niagara IceDogs.
Friday's game is sponsored by Cambrian College. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a pair of socks to participate in the Cambrian College Sock Toss during the second intermission for the chance to win a Go-Pro. All socks will be donated to the Samaritan Centre. Fans will also receive Cambrian Rally Towels. Don't miss the Tim Hortons Timbit mini-game during the first intermission featuring the youngsters from Coniston Minor Hockey. Prior to the game, the Wolves will also make presentations to their three graduating players DANNY DESROCHERS, PATRICK MURPHY and MIKKEL AAGAARD.

Following Friday's final home game, the Wolves will travel to Barrie to wrap up the 2015-16 season against the Colts at 7:30pm. Wolves road games can be heard live on KFM 95.5 with Stew Kernan.
