Wolves Face Grand Rapids in Central Division Finals

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves will have the home-ice advantage for the best-of-seven Central Division Finals that begin Wednesday, May 3, against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
The top-seeded Wolves, who defeated the Charlotte Checkers 3-2 in Game 5 on Wednesday night to claim their best-of-five Central Division Semifinals series, rallied down the regular-season stretch to edge the second-seeded Griffins for the Central Division title by 1 point.
The Wolves welcome Grand Rapids to Allstate Arena for 7 p.m. games on Wednesday, May 3, and Friday, May 5. After traveling to Van Andel Arena for Game 3 (6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6) and Game 4 (6 p.m. on Monday, May 8), the Wolves are slated to host Game 5 at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, and Game 7 on Tuesday, May 16, if necessary.
All home games will be broadcast on The U Too, which can be found over the air on 26.2 and via cable and satellite on XFinity 230, Dish Network 48, RCN 35, and WOW 170.
Chicago and Grand Rapids met 10 times during the regular season. The Griffins won five of the seven games that were settled in regulation and claimed all three games that went to overtime. This marks the fifth time the franchises have met in the postseason and the Wolves won three of the first four series.
