Wolves Broadside Admirals 5-2 in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - Vince Dunn tallied two third-period goals to help the Chicago Wolves topple the Milwaukee Admirals 5-2 Saturday night at UWM Panther Arena.

Kenny Agostino notched a goal and an assist while Ivan Barbashev and Chris Butler also recorded goals for the Wolves (12-9-2-1). Goaltender Pheonix Copley (4-3-1) stopped 29 shots in the victory.

Milwaukee (14-5-2-1) opened scoring in the first when Justin Florek buried a shot at 4:32 of the opening period.

At 10:16 of the first period, Butler nabbed his second goal of the season out front off a below-the-goal-line pass from Agostino.

Milwaukee regained the lead at 11:43 when Trevor Smith found the back of the net.

Chicago knotted the score 2-2 late in the first when Barbashev slipped a shot past Jonas Gunnarsson at 18:21 of the first frame.

After a scoreless second period, Dunn collected the go-ahead marker at 4:49 of the third period with a slap shot from near the offensive blue line. Dunn gave the Wolves a 4-2 lead about seven minutes later with a power-play tally from the center point.

The Wolves capped their victory at 15:28 of the last frame on Agostino's goal, which marked his 11th point in the last five games.

Gunnarsson (1-2-1) turned aside 25 shots in the loss.
