Wolves Announce Dates For First Two Home Playoff Games

The Chicago Wolves will host their first two games of the 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs at the Allstate Arena on Wed., April 14, at 7 p.m., and Fri., April 16, at 7:30 p.m. Opponents remain to be determined.
The Wolves currently rank first in the West Division with 101 points through 75 games and hold a six-point advantage over the second-place Texas Stars with five games remaining on both teams' regular-season schedules. If Chicago wins the West Division title, it will be guaranteed home ice for the first two rounds of the playoffs.
Chicago's opponent will be determined in the final 11 days of the regular season from a pool that includes the Texas Stars (95 points), Rockford IceHogs (88 points), Milwaukee Admirals (84 points), Peoria Rivermen (80 points) and San Antonio Rampage (77 points).
The Wolves have earned a postseason berth for the 14th time in 16 seasons and have won four championships in the last 12 years: the 1998 and 2000 Turner Cups, and the 2002 and 2008 Calder Cups.
