Wolf Pack Takes Bite out of IceCaps

ST. JOHN'S - The St. John's IceCaps battled hard but couldn't catch up to the Hartford Wolf Pack in a 4-1 loss at Mile One Centre on Friday night.
Jayson Megna, Chris Summers and Niklas Jensen potted three goals before Michael McCarron found the back of the net to narrow the lead to two. The IceCaps couldn't continue the offence as Chad Nehring scored once more to stretch the lead to 4-1.
Bud Holloway and Morgan Ellis picked up the assists on McCarron's tally, and netminder Zach Fucale made 25 saves in the loss.
The IceCaps donned Sport NL Stars and Legends jerseys for the game.
The IceCaps finish up the 2015-16 season tomorrow night (7:30 PM) as they rematch the Hartford Wolf Pack. Fan Appreciation continues tomorrow night and tickets are still available at the box office and online at www.mileonecentre.com.
