HARTFORD: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has released defenseman Simon Denis from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.
Denis, a second-year pro out of Ferris State University, joined the Wolf Pack March 14 and skated in seven games with the club, his first career AHL action. Denis contributed four assists in those seven contests, along with nine shots on goal. In 49 games with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL, Denis has six goals and 29 assists for 35 points, along with five penalty minutes.
The Wolf Pack's next game is their last home game of the season, this Friday, April 13th, a 7:15 PM contest vs. the Binghamton Devils. As at all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period, presented by Dave & Buster's.
