Dakota Wizards News Release

Bismarck, N.D. (March 6, 2011) - Marcus Landry sank two free throws with five seconds remaining to give the Reno Bighorns (25-14) a 105-103 come from behind victory over the Dakota Wizards (14-26) Sunday afternoon at the Bismarck Civic Center.

Reno (25-14) jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter but relinquished the lead late as Dakota went on an 18-8 run and led 33-24 at the end of the first. Dakota led by 16 after an Anthony Goods three-pointer with 6.3 seconds left in the half but Donald Sloan countered with a three-pointer of his own as the horn sounded giving Dakota a 62-49 lead at the break.

Reno trailed the entire second half until Salim Stoudamire hit a three with 50.9 seconds left to tie the game at 103-103. The Bighorns came up with a big defensive stop and would call timeout with 7.9 seconds left. Landry got fouled on a drive to the basket with 5.2 seconds left and calmly sank both free-throws. Darren Cooper's last second three-pointer rattled out securing the Bighorns 105-103 win and third straight road victory.

Patrick O'Bryant led the way for Reno with a season high 25 points and 17 rebounds and Danny Green contributed a double-double of his own with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Landry finished with 21 points and Salim Stoudamire chipped in 17 off the bench going 3-of-4 from behind the arc.

Javaris Crittenton came off the bench to lead Dakota with 26 points and Anthony Goods added 22 points shooting a season best 5-of-7 from behind the arc.

The same two teams meet for the last time this season Monday night at 7 p.m. CT at the Bismarck Civic Center.
