Winnipeg Jets Jets Recall Eddie Pasquale from IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have recalled goaltender Eddie Pasquale from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The IceCaps announced they have recalled goaltender Chris Carrozzi from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Pasquale, 22, has played in 36 games for the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, the Toronto, ON netminder has earned a 14-19-2 record, 2.63 goals against average and 0.912 save percentage. During the 2011-12 season, Pasquale played in 38 games for the IceCaps accumulating a 23-12-1 record, 2.41 goals against average and 0.911 save percentage. As a result, he was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team and was selected as the IceCaps Top Rookie. He was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 117th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.

Carrozzi, 22, has played in 23 games with the Reign so far this season where he has accumulated a 16-6-1 record, 2.92 goals against average and 0.882 save percentage. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 154th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
