Wings Capture Playoff Spot; Face Buffalo In First Round Next Friday

The Philadelphia Wings' have clinched their first playoff spot since 2002. The post-season berth was secured tonight when the New York Titans defeated the Rochester Knighthawks at Madison Square Garden by a score of 12-11.
The Wings finish the 2008 regular season tomorrow against the Toronto Rock at Air Canada Centre at 7:30 p.m. Regardless of the outcome of that game, the Wings will finish in the fourth and final playoff spot in the East Division and will play the Buffalo Bandits in the first round of the National Lacrosse League Playoffs on Friday, May 2 at HSBC Arena at 7:30 p.m.
