Wilmington Hammerheads Sign Jermie Lynch on Loan

Wilmington, NC - Wilmington Hammerheads FC announce the addition of striker Jermie Lynch, on loan from St. Louis FC, for the remainder of their 20th anniversary season.
Lynch, born March 24, 1991, is a Jamaican international footballer who began his career with Harbour View . In July of 2013, Lynch went on trial with El Salvadorian club Luis î=81ngel Firpo, before signing a loan deal with the club a few days later.
Lynch signed with the USL expansion side Saint Louis FC in March of 2015. He scored the club's first ever regular-season goal during a match against the Tulsa Roughnecks at ONEOK Field on April 2, 2015. Upon his signing, Lynch stated, "I'm really happy to be here in Wilmington with the Hammerheads. I come here with one intention, and that is to help this team win games; weather I am scoring goals or creating opportunities. I had a long discussion with Coach Briggs and his assistant coach and their overall plan attracted me to Wilmington. The energy from the team projects nothing but greatness and I can't wait to play my first game with them."
Head coach Mark Briggs added, "He will be a great asset for us. He has a proven record in the USL for scoring goals. I'm excited to integrate him with the squad for the rest of the season."
