Wildcats Fall 4-1 to Halifax

The Wildcats fall 4-1 to the Halifax Mooseheads tonight in front of 6,407 people at the Moncton Coliseum.
Halifax was on the board at 8:06 of the first period after a shorthanded goal from Connor Moynihan, giving the Mooseheads the early lead. It wasn't until later in the second period when Moncton would register their first goal of the game which came from Conor Garland, unassisted on the power play.
Halifax pulled ahead with a one goal lead once again after their second goal of the night midway through the third from Maxime Fortier.
Halifax would make the final 4-1 with two empty net goals in the dying minutes of the game from Andrew Shewfelt and Morgan Nauss. Moncton outshot Halifax 35-18.
The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow vs. the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at 3:00 p.m. as the 26th annual Tim Hortons Timbit Tournament weekend continues.
