Whitecaps FC Residency Take All Four Matches on California Trip

Whitecaps FC Residency teams won all four matches on their California road trip this past weekend as they inch closer towards the United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) playoffs.
U-18
With two more matches completed, the U-18s have now extended their unbeaten run to 26 consecutive matches unbeaten.
On Saturday, the 'Caps won 3-1 at De Anza Force. The Blue and White had goals from Terran Campbell, David Norman, and newcomer Patrick Metcalfe.

On Sunday, goalkeeper Aidan Aylward and the 'Caps posted a clean sheet in a 3-0 win against Santa Cruz Breakers Academy. Campbell added his second goal of the weekend, with goals also scored by Marcello Polisi and Daniel Sagno.

With the weekend's results, the 'Caps pulled eight points clear of second place Sacramento Republic FC with three matches remaining. The U-18s +51 goal difference is tied with Capital Area Railhawks for best in the USSDA.
U-16
The U-16s brought their win total to 21, tied with LA Galaxy for the most in the USSDA at the U-16 level.
Against De Anza Force on Saturday, the 'Caps won 5-0 with two goals from Alan Camacho, and one each from Noah Verhoeven, Nicholas Fussell, and Rees Goertzen. Camacho currently leads the USSDA with 25 goals scored.

The Sunday match brought another clean sheet for the U-16s, a 4-0 win versus Santa Cruz Breakers Academy. Verhoeven and Fussell both scored their second goals of the weekend, with Theo Bair and Tudor Mihaila adding the others.
The 'Caps are 14 points clear at the top of the Northwest Division with three matches remaining.
