When Kastles Collide - History of Kastle vs. Kastle Matches On Tour
Few situations in sports are more difficult than taking on a teammate, but the 2012 Washington Kastles have grown accustomed to it.
Leander Paes, Treat Huey and Raquel Kops-Jones tangled in mixed doubles at the 2012 US Open, while Arina Rodionova and Edina Gallovits-Hall met twice recently on the ITF Women's Circuit.
The chemistry of the Kastles in WTT play was remarkable considering that Washington players have been opponents in 77 different matches on the pro tennis tour, including at all four Grand Slams.
Now you can review every Kastle vs. Kastle match in singles, doubles and mixed at WashingtonKastles.com.
With a 6-3 mark, Paes owns the highest winning percentage among Washington players in head-to-head matches with teammates.
Serena and Venus Williams come in second and fourth respectively, though they would be higher were it not for their back-and-forth rivalry. Younger sister Serena is 13-10 in singles and 0-1 in mixed doubles against Venus.
