WHEELING, W.Va. - Bring your skates and gloves and join the Nailers for a postgame skate as part of Sunday Family Funday after they take on the Trenton Devils at 4:05 p.m. today.

The Nailers are coming off a 3-2 win over Trenton last night. Goaltender David Brown stopped 45 Trenton shots in his first game action since he was injured in January, and Bryan Ewing gave the Nailers an early boost when he scored his league-best sixth shorthanded goal of the season.
-Last Time Out
Wheeling defeated Trenton Friday night, 3-2. Bryan Ewing and Brock Sheahan scored first-period goals to give the Nailers an early lead. Goaltender David Brown made 45 saves in his first game action since Jan. 10.
-Nailers v. Devils, Head-to-Head in 2008-09
Wheeling is 6-2-0-1 against Trenton this season. The Nailers have won the last three games, beating the Devils 4-3 on Feb. 24 and 5-4 in a shootout on Feb. 22. The Nailers beat the Devils for the third straight time last night, 3-2.

Wheeling: Bryan Ewing leads the Nailers with 71 points (36 G, 35A) in 52 games. Erik Johnson is team's second leading scorer with 15 goals and 22 assists (37 points) in 49 games.
Trenton: Right winger Eric Castonguay leads Trenton with 48 point (16 G, 32A) in 40 games. Jeff Prough is the team's second leading scorer with 24 goals and 21 assists (45 points) in 51 games.
-Goalie Brown Returns
David Brown played in his first game last night since being injured on Jan. 10. Brown made 45 saves in the Nailers' 3-2 win yesterday, 21 of which came in the third period.
-Ewing Leads
Bryan Ewing scored his league-best sixth shorthanded goal last night early in the first period of the Nailers' 3-2 win over the Trenton Devils.

Wheeling winger Bryan Ewing is second in the ECHL in points with 71 points (36G, 35A), and he leads the league in shorthanded goals with six. ... Ewing is currently riding a 5-game points streak (3G, 4A). ... Nailers goaltender David Brown is 4-0-0 in his last six games with a goals-against average of 2.48. ... Rookie Brad Snetsinger led Trenton in February with 11 assists and 19 points in 13 games. ... Defenseman Ryan Gunderson has 10 assists in his last 11 games. Although they went 0-for-7 last night, the Devils still retain the best power play in the ECHL at 22.1 percent. Wheeling is fourth in the league on the power play at 21 percent.
