Charleston, WV The West Virginia Power downed the Greenville Drive 6-4 Monday afternoon at Appalachian Power Park to close out the regular season. Dario Agrazal took a perfect game into the sixth inning and worked a Power season-high eight shutout frames in the 2016 finale.

West Virginia struck for an early lead with a pair of runs in the first against Drive starter Enmanuel De Jesus. After Mitchell Tolman singled with one out, Logan Hill hit an RBI double down the left field line to put the Power on the board. The next batter, Carlos Munoz, hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Hill who previously advanced to third on a wild pitch.

Hill doubled the advantage with a two-run home run over the left field wall in the third, his 11th of the season, giving the Power a 4-0 edge.

DeJesus (2-4) surrendered four runs and five hits across four innings.

Agrazal (8-12) retired the first 17 Drive batters until Jeremy Rivera reached on an error by Tyler Filliben with two outs in the sixth. The next batter, Derek Miller, singled to left to break up the no-hitter, however Agrazal was able to keep the shutout intact. The right-hander worked eight scoreless frames, the first Power pitcher this season to throw more than seven innings. He limited the Drive to three hits while striking five and walking none.

West Virginia added two additional runs in the eighth on RBI doubles by Mitchell Tolman and Carlos Munoz.

Greenville scored four runs against Julio Eusebio in the top of the ninth inning on three hits and two walks, and eventually brought the tying run to the plate before the Power closer retired Derek Miller on a pop out to Daniel Arribas for the final out of the game and the season.

Mitchell Tolman, Logan Hill and Daniel Arribas all finished with a pair of hits to pace the Power offense, with Hill's three RBI leading the club. The Power end the year with the four-game series win over the Drive.

West Virginia ends the year with an overall record of 71-68, 40-29 at Appalachian Power Park and 31-39 on the road. The Power open the 2017 season on April 6 at Appalachian Power against the Rome Braves.
