RAPIDS HOST FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT AT DICK'S SPORTING GOODS PARK ON OCT. 27: On Saturday, October 27, the Colorado Rapids will face the Houston Dynamo at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in the final regular season match of 2012. The game is Fan Appreciation Night, and will feature giveaways and prizes throughout the match, discounts of up to 70% off at the team store, as well as 2012 player awards and other special events during and after the game. RAPIDS FACE CHIVAS USA ON SATURDAY IN LOS ANGELES: The Rapids will travel to Los Angeles this weekend to face Chivas USA on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8:30 p.m. PT (7:30 p.m. MT) at The Home Depot Center. The match will be broadcast live on Altitude and Mile High Sports Radio. Onda 1150AM will do their live, Spanish-language broadcast of the match from the Coors Light Away Game Viewing Party at The Three Lions in Denver. PICKENS AND CASEY LIKELY OUT FOR FINAL TWO MATCHES: Colorado Rapids Head Coach Oscar Pareja has told www.ColoradoRapids.com that goalkeeper Matt Pickens and forward Conor Casey will be sidelined for the final two matches of the season, with Brian Mullan possibly missing both games as well. With several players missing due to injury, Pareja said that several players might be in line for additional playing time in the next two weeks, including Tony Cascio and Andre Akpan, goalkeeper Steward Ceus, and defenders Chris Klute and Davy Armstrong.

O'NEILL PLAYS FIRST MINUTES WITH U.S. U-20 NATIONAL TEAM: Colorado Rapids midfielder and Homegrown Player Shane O'Neill made his national team debut as a starter for the U.S. Under-20 squad against Canada on Oct 10 in the Marbella Cup. O'Neill played 65 minutes in the U.S.'s 2-1 loss, and did not play in the squad's 2-0 victory over Scotland on Oct. 12. The team has one more match left in the tournament, held in Marbella, Spain, as they face Azerbaijan on Tuesday.

CUMMINGS AND JAMAICA TO FACE ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA ON TUESDAY: Rapids forward Omar Cummings and the Jamaican National Team will face Antigua and Barbuda on Tuesday night in Kingston, Jamaica. Jamaica is currently third in Group A of Round 3 of FIFA World Cup Qualifying after falling 2-1 to Guatemala on Oct. 12. Cummings did not see playing time in the match, but could be turned to tomorrow night as Jamaica faces possible elimination from World Cup Qualifications if they fail to win their match. Cummings has made 31 total appearances for his country, including the two matches against the United States in June, also World Cup Qualifiers.
