Walleye Trade Tremblay; Get Carlsson Back From Rockford

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that defenseman Jonathan Carlsson has been reassigned by the Chicago Blackhawks to Toledo from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In a separate move, the Walleye have traded defenseman Luis Tremblay to the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL for future considerations.

Carlsson has appeared in 19 games this year with Rockford scoring one goal. The 2008 6th round selection of the Blackhawks scored twice and added two assists in ten games earlier this year in a Walleye uniform. Luis Tremblay skated in 23 contests with Toledo, netting nine assists and 65 penalty minutes.
