Verizon Wireless to Sponsor Wildcats Game

ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats arenafootball team announced today that Verizon Wireless will be the game sponsor for the Wildcats game on Saturday, April 15. The Wildcats will play host to the Tulsa Talons at 7:30 p.m. on Cooper Tire Field at the Albany Civic Center. This game marks the first Wildcats game to be televised in that The WB of Tulsa will be broadcasting the game live to the Tulsa area starting at 7:30 p.m.
Verizon Wireless is the exclusive and official wireless provider of the South Georgia Wildcats.
As a game night sponsor, Verizon Wireless will be involved in the Wildcats pre-game activities. Presenting the first ball will be Verizon Wireless sales representative Jason Bratcher. Participating in the coin toss will be Verizon Wireless sales representative Danielle Hargis. Performing the National Anthem will be Teresa Thomas from Atlantic Tel-Com., Inc. and the invocation will be performed by Pastor Daniel Simmons of Mount Zion Baptist Church. The Marine Base Color Guard will present the colors during the pre game ceremonies.
Verizon Wireless will be giving away colorful South Georgia Wildcats magnetic license plates to the first 1,000 Wildcats fans.
The Arena Football League is entering its 20th season and the South Georgia Wildcats are entering their second season in Albany, GA. The Wildcats will play host to the Tulsa Talons on Saturday, April 15 on Cooper Tire Field at the Albany Civic Center. Wildcats season tickets are now on sale starting at just $70 and single game tickets are now available.
